WHO WE ARE

The Gentleman's Libations was started in 2022 out of a love of cocktails. Not being able to find a high-quality coffee liqueur, our founder, Leon, set about making one of his own. After numerous iterations The Gentlemen's Coffee Liqueur was perfected and finding that there was a gap in the local marketplace the business was started.

In starting a business the focus has been to develop a business that comports with our value system. This includes ensuring that all ingredients are ethically sourced, that the people involved in the manufacture of the product earn a living wage and that wherever possible the business makes use of small local suppliers to improve the local economy.

All staff directly employed by The Gentlemen's Libations will have the opportunity to have a stake in the ownership of the business.

RECIPES

These are recipes that we have tested and feel are great ways of integrating coffee into a drink. Some are variations on existing drinks and others are brand new inventions, where possible we will attribute the original creators. These do vary in difficulty from simple stirred drinks through to more advanced techniques.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we have and if you have new creations please let us know!

I love Mezcal, I love a negroni and I love a bit of coffee, this has all of those. I heard of the rosita, a tequila negroni and added some coffee liqueur instead of the dry vermouth and swapped out the tequila for Mezcal. La Rosita Ardiente, the little burning rose. Mezcal, Campari, @caperitif and The Gentleman’s Coffee Liqueur. #coffeecocktail

Always fun to play with an ingredient that you haven’t tried before. Ponche Caballero is a Spanish brandy based liqueur with notes of orange, plum and raisins.
